AI as a tool. Human responsibility.
NELATAR uses artificial intelligence as a supporting tool.
During the development of the brand, website and editorial content, AI systems may support research, structuring, drafting, translation, technical development and the creation of visual concepts.
Tools currently used for these purposes include OpenAI systems such as ChatGPT and Codex.
AI support does not replace human responsibility at NELATAR.
Human review and editorial responsibility
Content is not published simply because an AI system generated or suggested it.
Before publication, content is selected, reviewed and approved by a human.
Statements may be edited, supplemented, rejected, checked against external sources or completely rewritten.
Responsibility for content published on NELATAR.com remains with the website operator.
No direct AI interaction when visiting the website
The current version of NELATAR.com does not contain a publicly accessible AI chatbot or another generative AI system with which visitors directly interact.
During an ordinary visit to the website, visitor input is therefore not automatically transmitted to the generative AI systems used during development.
AI-assisted text
Artificial intelligence may assist with drafting, structuring or editing text.
Published content undergoes human editorial review.
The use of AI assistance therefore does not mean that every published text was generated entirely and unchanged by an AI system.
Images, visualisations and mockups
NELATAR may also use artificial intelligence to create or edit visual concepts, mockups or illustrations.
Where AI-generated or AI-manipulated content requires specific disclosure because of its realistic nature or applicable legal requirements, an appropriate disclosure will be provided.
In particular, realistic artificial representations should not be presented as documentary images of real products, people, places or events.
Certification and professional decisions
The use of artificial intelligence in the development of NELATAR does not mean that future certification decisions will be made automatically by AI.
Requirements relating to assessment, evidence, evaluation, independence and certification decisions are governed separately within the NELATAR assessment and certification system.
AI support does not replace any professional review or accountable decision required by the applicable procedure.
Transparency under the EU AI Act
NELATAR takes into account the applicable transparency requirements of the European AI Act when publishing AI-generated or AI-manipulated content.
A distinction is made between assistive uses of AI, content subject to meaningful human editorial control and content for which specific disclosure or labelling is legally required.
Our principle
AI may help us research, structure, design and develop more efficiently.
It should not obscure who is responsible.
